Weekends

Tomorrow is finally Friday! I love and live for the weekends! We play games, watch movies, watch football, sleep late, have a BIG Brunch, go to kid's games, go out on dates, take naps and try to avoid anything productive it seems. What do you guys like to do on the weekend? What are fun, FREE, or inexpensive things you like to do on weekends with your family or for dates? I hope you have a great weekend whatever you do and remember to enjoy every moment because time flies when you are having fun!

Monday Blues!

I don't know about you guys but I have been struggling with getting things in order.
I decided my goal for 2010 was to be a better me. In pursuit of that goal I am trying to get, and keep our house in order. I spent all of last week doing laundry, cleaning the kids upstairs rooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen and dining area. I mostly had to do upkeep and not total down and dirty cleaning because the week before I had done all of that. My big plan was upkeep the regular stuff and this week hit our room, laundry room and family room. These are all big projects requiring their own day if not two. Sadly when I came down the stairs to the real world this morning I took off my rose colored glasses and realized all my work was undone. I now have the horrible Monday Blues beating down on me with work to be done over and still started. How do you keep things in order and still move on? How do you take a short break like 1 day over the weekend and have it not all destroyed? I would love some suggestions!
